Michael is an RPEQ qualified Transport Engineer, with over 25 years of commercial experience, including the last 14 years working in the transport planning and engineering sector. His experience includes working and with multi-disciplinary consultancies, the QLD State Government and Local Governments.

 Michael excels in analysing complex datasets, preparing infrastructure plans, conducting planning studies, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. He is passionate about project management, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and procurement. 

 With nearly two decades of experience in procurement and supply chain management, Rina brings valuable expertise to project management. Her background as a sustainability strategist and change manager makes her a thought leader in integrating ESG considerations. Skilled in aligning business objectives with procurement strategies, Rina mentors others to drive commercial value. Her Commercial Toolkit, enriched over time, includes techniques to integrate ESG principles into operations, future-proofing organisations and fostering community support. 

  Lizel Herholdt is a Principal Transport Planner with over 35 years of experience across both private consulting and local government sectors in South Africa and Queensland, Australia. She has played a pivotal role in strategic transport planning, project management, and integrating transport with land use. Lizel has managed complex projects such as the Gautrain Rapid Rail Project in South Africa and Logan City Council’s Integrated Local Transport Plan – Way2Go.  Lizel’s commitment to sustainable and accessible transport solutions makes her a valuable asset to Modal Planning. 

 Christopher Maddox is a Principal GIS Specialist with 19 years of experience across government, research, and private consulting. He has delivered award-winning projects such as the Logan Growth Model, Flood Portal, and Disaster Dashboard, applying spatial analysis to transport, land use, and environmental challenges. Christopher’s ability to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights has supported planning schemes, masterplans, and real-time emergency response. 

    Wendy Santana is a Principal Environmental Planner with 17 years of experience in state government and consulting. She brings specialist expertise in biodiversity, vegetation, and hazard assessments, as well as sustainability and heritage planning. Wendy has contributed to major transport mobility studies and planning scheme reviews, and has led engagement for Queensland’s Regional Transport Plans. She ensures projects balance environmental protection with practical, future-focused outcomes. 

    Noel Gorringe is a Principal Consultant with extensive experience in Indigenous engagement, contract management, and community relations. He has held senior roles with Supply Nation, Downer, and Thiess, supporting Indigenous procurement, diversity, and cultural heritage initiatives. Noel also brings a background in teaching and cultural capability development. At Modal, he supports business services and stakeholder engagement, and contributes to GIS and spatial analysis projects with Christopher.
